Sometimes words fail us. When we need to make amends or apologize, flowers are our best friends. If you need to apologize, a lovely bouquet of "I'm sorry flowers" can perform miracles. At one time there was a whole language of flowers. Here are some examples with the language of roses.

Austrian Rose You are all that is lovely
Black Rose Foreshadow of death
Bridal Rose Happiness
Cabbage Rose Ambassador of love
Carolina Rose Love is dangerous
Christmas Rose Relieve my anxiety
Cinnamon Rose Without pretension
Coral Rose Desire
Dark crimson Rose Mourning
Dark pink Rose Thankfulness
Deep red Rose Shame
Garland or crown Rose Beware of virtue
Hibiscus Rose Delicate, beauty
Lavender Rose Enchantment
Orange Rose Fascination
Pale pink Rose Grace, joy
Peach Rose Immortality, modesty
Pink Rose Perfect happiness
Red Rose I love you
Tea Rose I'll remember always
Thornless Rose Love at first sight
White and red mixed Rose Unity
White Rose innocence and purity
Yellow Rose Jealousy
Rosebud red Rose Pure and lovely

A single rose means “I love you.”

One yellow rose with 11 red ones means love and passion...

A dozen roses signify gratitude.
25 roses mean congratulations.
50 roses symbolize unconditional love.

Here are some other flower languages. Some of them are clearly “I’m sorry flowers”
Alyssum worth beyond beauty, sweet
Amaryllis splendid beauty, pride
American cowslip divine beauty
Arum ardor
Asparagus fern fascination
Baby's breath innocence, purity of heart
Bachelor button single blessedness, celibacy
Calla lily magnificent beauty
Carnation (general) fascination, devoted love
Carnation (pink) I’ll never forget you
Chrysanthemum (general) abundance & wealth, cheerfulness, you're a wonderful friend
Chrysanthemum (red) love
Chrysanthemum (white) truth
Freesia innocence, trust
Fuchsia (scarlet) confiding love, taste
Gardenia- you're lovely, secret love
Gerbera innocence
Gladioli generosity, I’m sincere
Gloxinia love at first sight
Petunia your presence soothes me
Rhododendron danger, beware, agitation
Rosemary remembrance
Rose-of-Sharon consumed by love

There are also some negative messages
Basil I hate you
Begonia beware
Oleander caution
Peony anger
Primrose (evening) inconsistency
Snapdragon falsehood, deception
Carnation (yellow) disappointment, rejection

So when you want to apologize, send some “I’m sorry flowers” – but be careful that they are not a bouquet of snapdragons or peonies. That could be disaster. At least it could be if the traditional messages of flower talk were in use.
